Music has been a part of my life as far back as my memory takes me. Until a few years ago, when my husband, Stan Thomas, bought a Native American flute cd, I had mostly listened to southern gospel, pop gospel, bluegrass, and easy listening. Now the Native American flute is among the music I love to listen to.
As he said in his bio, he and my daughter got involved with the flute group. I enjoy listening to them play, but do not feel playing the flute is my gift. However, I love trying to play along with the rainstick, rhythm pipes, or tambourine. It's my desire to work with them and learn how to play the beautiful Native American music that so many people love to listen to.
