About Us

The Louisiana Native American Flute Circle is a gathering of flute enthusiasts. We have members who play the flute and other instruments, members who craft Native American flutes, and those who just enjoy listening to the beautiful sounds of this unique instrument. Everyone is welcome.

Our purpose is to promote the Native American flute, its music, heritage and history. We gather regularly to share our knowledge, experience and music. Most of all we have fun!

Paula Ellis, your blogmaster, has been studying both Native American Flute and web design for several years, now, but I still feel I have much to learn. Music has been a part of my life for more than 40 years, but I only found the Native American Flute a few years ago. When the flute circle was discussing a website, I knew Byron would volunteer. He’s been the family computer geek for years. Since he was working steadily on our personal website, I decided to get the ball rolling with a basic website and blog. Both the website and the flute have been journeys of discovery. Thank you for joining us on this site. Come back often.

Byron Ellis has been interested in music, woodworking and computers for many years, making him a perfect choice for webmaster of a flute circle website. While Paula does the basic work, Byron is the quality control and does the more advanced programming like that used for the website opinion poll. Together we work to bring you a quality site with information you can use.
